Hello,
I have setted a delivery unit in the material master.
When I do a sale order, the delivery unit is respected, but when I check availability (and the stock is less than the quantity order) the system doesn't give me a multiple of the delivery unit but all the stock. So the delivery has a quantity different from a multiple of delivery unit .
For example:
material A --> delivery unit 50
stock --> 110
quantity order --> 200
confirmed quantity --> the system propose 110
and so the quantity in the delivery is 110.
How can I have in the delivery respected delivery unit automatically?
I want that the quantity in the delivery is 100...
Thanks in advance
GP
Hey ,
Sam is correct. He has given the right clue , but by the same time u have to activate rounding rule for the qty in the field, which is just next to Min. del. qty.and u hav to check Alt. UOM .if possible go to T.Code OVLP and check what setting has been done for Del Item QTy(below).
plz set B and save the docs.
and repeat ur process. i m sure ur probs will be solved.
thanks,
mk

Check minimum qty & Check overdelivery are for different purpose.
Check minimum - Specifies whether the system checks the minimum delivery quantity(which is maintained in MM03), and, if so, determines how the system reacts if the minimum is not met.
Check overdelivery - Specifies how the system reacts when, during delivery processing, you exceed the original order quantity. Suppose in your Sale order quantity is 100 and in delivery you changed it manually to 110, this can be checked through overdelivery option.
First go to material master, select "Sales: Sales Org. Data 1" view tab and maintain 50 in the field "Delivery Unit".
Second, go to OVAH, select the message no.V4-081 and change it to "E". By default, "W" will be there.
Now try the process and I am sure, you will succeed in this.

Hi there,
In MM03, Sales org 1, there is a field called delivery unit. Enter 50 there. Then system willnot confirm 110 as in your case.

In MM03>Sales org 1>Delivery unit(
The delivery unit consists of a number and a unit of measure. In the case of a delivery unit of 30 pieces, 30, 60, 90, and so on pieces can be delivered, but not, however, 100 pieces.)
