Hi guys,

I want to test my development and for that I have to create different kind of users.

How can create the following users:

1. Disable

2. Inactive

and if you know about more kind of users I will be happy to hear.

By the way, I don't mean LOCKED user!!!

    Hi shlom,

have a look at the SAP note for Patch3 (https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1245553), which explains the attributes MX_DISABLED and MX_INACTIVE for different releases.

You can easily modify a task group: set these two attributes for the entry type MX_PERSON in the IC for the workflow component.

If you have configured the SAP Provisioning Framework correctly, you will see in the Logs or the target systems afterwards, that the users are set disabled/inactive, after you have submitted the changed attributes in the workflow.

    Best regards,

      Hi Shlolm,

I assumed that you were talking about the tool SAP NW Identity Management to disable or set users inactive for various SAP and Non-SAP systems.

In the SAP GUI instead, use transaction su01 and have a look at the tabs for the user. I think, others may give you further information in the SAP ERP forum.

      Best regards,
