Extraction from ECC --> BI 7.0

Hi, need a little help.

When I run the infopackage for 2LIS_08TRTK, the following error code apeares:

This is in RED.

Field /BEV1/RP_WEIGTH_U ( Position 57 😞 Field name is longer than 16 characters.

And this one in Yellow.

Field ALLOWED_TWGT ( Position 69 😞 Packed numbers should have an odd number of digit.

Any help is appreciated

Hi,

It looks like there is a problem in the data. The datatype of the object is not supporting the data coming in it.

In first case, the KF accepts only 16 digits whereas the data is of length more than 16. So please check the data and do the corrections.

Well that was my first idea, on the ECC side I u201CDelete the Contents of the Setup Tablesu201D and tried to run it again u2013 but no - luck same error.

Could it be that the field name is to long? if I count it is 17 char. /BEV1/RP_WEIGTH_U, not that i make any sens.

Hello Jens,

but that is the error message: "field name is longer than 16". Not field content as you suggest. No idea how this happens, but the /BEV1/RP_WEIGTH_U looks strange. What about /BEV/RP_WEIGTH_U ?

Edit: And ignore the yellow one about packed numbers. I always get that when I use DB connects to Oracle. It never made any problem. It may create a problem if the numeric field is filled completely. But I never tried systematically.
