Manual Price Change through MR21

Dear All,

I am trying to change material price though manual price change transaction code MR21for which standard cost estimate is already released. The system throwing error " A current or future standard price exists for material" with message type: "CKPRCH025". I want to change this message type to information message in order to allow the system the manual price change, How can I change.

In material master - Accounting-1 View remove future price input, and try to change the price thru MR22

Hi,

Please follow the below procedure to update the material master

1. Go to T code CKR1 and reorganize the cost estimate for Future and Current. This transaction will delete the cost estimates and your material master will not have Std price after executing CKR1

2. Perform MR21 for the materials which are having pricing control as S.

FYI, you will not have cost component split up if you use MR21 to update the price.

Dear Ramesh,

What's the material type for which you are trying to change the price through MR21?

If it's a FERT or HALB means then you have to reorganise the existing standard Cost estimate using T

code CKR1 and then do a recost estimate using CK40N or else CK11N and then markup & release using

CK24.

Or else once after executing CKR1,check whether now are you able to change the price manually using

MR21.

As per to my knowledge I dont think T code CKR1 is also used for ROH - Raw materials.

check & revert back.
