Hello All,

I want to ensure that the system does not allow the user to enter a PO # less than 10 digit for an external number range. The External number Range that I have is alpha numeric.

Please suggest ways.

Dear Dhandapani,

Please check SAP note 918914.

You can use user exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_006 but in the case of external number assignment,
in the BELEGNR_ERM (SAPLMEPO) subroutine, EKKO-EBELN is filled with the value from
the EKKOADD-EXTNR field. As a result, the EKKO-EBELN field is not filled in the
EXIT_SAPMM06E_006 user exit but you can check the code in the note.
