Inward Inspection - With Skip

Hi Experts,

This is in continuation with my previous thread, Inward Inspection involving Dynamic Modification. Just a brief abt my previous thread....

We do Skip first 9 lots against TC. Every 10th Lot is inspected including TC.After the Inspection, stock posting is taken place.

My doubt is,

during the production, Opertaors do find some mistakes in the INSPECTED material. They send the materials to Inward Inspection again. If this happens, then irrespective of the rule that I have mentioned in the top, they inspect 6 lots continuously. If some rejection takes place in between, next 6 continuous lots will be inspected.

How this can be mapped using Dynamic Modification.

Hi Sam,

As per your earlier thread req, your creating 2 stage in DMR (One is Skip stage with 10inspection lot and 2nd one is Inspection stage.)

So now you can add one more skip stage in same DMR, skip with 6 inspection lot.

When ever you phase the complaint from shop floor you have manually active the 2nd skip stage (6 inspection lot) with QDL2 tcode. Bcz automatic shifting with respect to shop floor not possible.

Try and give the feed back.

Mr.Joshi,

Problem is detected at Production Stage. That Indirectly means that UD is over at Inspection Dept. I have assigned DMR at Lot level. So, stage change occurs after UD only.

I will check your suggestion with my system.

Yes You are correct Boss,

Once UD is completed then the Inspection stage can be changed manually only as Mr.Babu has suggested.

Hi Sam,

See the lots will be there always with skip stated according to the DMR. And UD for them can be planned or can be performed in mass. But one thing is for sure that the lot will be there. In your case for that sixth time where the discrepancy is found, the lot will be available and you can per form the quality result for the same and perform UD for it as per the regular lot. And then system set \ reset the Inspection stage and inspection severity, according to UD.
