How to read the PAT file of support package

Hi There,

Can anyone tell me is it possible to read the content of PAT file.

PAT file if the support package file. I extracted the PAT from *.SAR. Actually the PAT file which i want to open is the bp building block. anybody knows that pls share to me. Thanks a lot!

Hi,

PAT ( A SPAM/SAINT Update )is a type of support package

delivered by SAP which contains updates and improvements to

Support Package Manager and Add-On Installation Tool.

I hope you cant read the same.

This is just wrong info.

PAT is an internal file format for support packages and not only SPAM/SAINT updates.

It is not designed to be read by another software than transaction SPAM....
