SCP Workflow - Debug / Trace

Hi all,

I'm working on SCP Workflow Service. Sometimes, I've got error on Script Task steps (something like: "An unspecified error occurred. Contact support citing logId '*****' and provide steps to reproduce").


My questions are:

- Is there a way to debug Script Task steps? Or maybe to write traces somewhere?

- Can I check log id referred in the error somewhere or is something only available to SAP support?

Hi Manuel,

there is currently no debug facility.

If you run into a "An unspecified error occurred" you are typically running into an error which we have not whitelisted for customer visibility. If you give the Id here (please also mention the region you are in e. g. JP1), I can look it up for you and give you some ideas what could be wrong. If you have concerns to expose the Id here in the public, then you would have to open a customer incident on LOD-BPM-WFS.

Hi Tobias,

Find out to be a Javascript function (replace) not supported... Hope that some trace mechanism will be implemented soon, it would be very useful!

Hi Manuel,

if you talk about the String.replace function, it should be supported, as we support ECMAScript 5.1. Maybe there was another issue that made it look like the replace function was the problem.

If you let us know datacenter and UTC time where you tried (unsuccessfully), that would be nice so that we can improve the product.
