Manual Production Order Creation in SAP ByD

Hi Experts,

I have a question. Can we manually create production orders without planning run in SAP ByD. I tried and searched in the help center but was not able to get a solution.

Dear Abhishek,

You can create production orders without planning runs. However, stand alone production orders cannot be created. You will have to follow the below given steps to create production orders without planning runs.

1. Go to Supply Planning work center.
2. Select the option New Planning Proposal under the Common Tasks view.
3. Create the planning proposal in the new screen and release the same.
4. This proposal will create a Production Request and you can use the production request to create a Production Order.

Thanks for your reply.

Yes the solution which you have given will be too lengthy for manual creation as we have to follow the planning cycle for every manual creation production orders as in my case the requirement for creating manual production order is frequent.
