Unable to install SAP NW 7.01 on Vista System.. Error

Hello all,

I am having Windows Vista operating system with jdk 1.4.2_18 installed and I am trying to install sap nw 7.01 on my system. I firstly followed the instructions while executing setup.exe file and I got error because my sapnsc_00 service was not working and installation failed then I executed registry clean up tool provided on uninstallation page but after that when I am running installer again. I am getting error The installer is unable to run in graphical mode.Try running the installer with the -console or -silent flag.

I tried then with setup.exe -console flag but the problem is it doesnt ask for sap maxdb database name and password and because of that installation is again getting failed. I have tried all the options like deleting directories of installshield and other options but still no success.

Kindly help me out.
