Customer's credit exposure

Hi,

In credit control management, credit exposure is the total combined value of

1.open sales order

2. oper delivery value

3. open billinf doc

4. open items.

But in Tcode OVA8 we can see only 2 check box( Open sales Order + Open Deliveries) adjacent to static. So my doubt is how the system will calculate credit exposure for the customer as there is no option to check open billing doc and open items.

Regards

Debasish

    Dear Debashish

As per my understanding, this is because the credit limit check is always applicable at 2 levels only i.e. Sales Order and Delivery.

u r talking about Open Billing Doc and Open Items, but this is also covered within Open Sales Orders and Deliveries, isn't it?

    Hope this will help u.

The general theory is that whatever is invoiced should be part of credit exposure. The options for sale orders and deliveries is provided so that if required they may be added. With invoices this option doesnt come into picture.
