X-Sell and Up-Sell Recommendation

Hello Experts,

I have to implement three recommendation scenarios, top-sell, x-sell and up-sell.

The top-sell scenario should recommend top-seller products from a specific customer segmentation and also restricting customer type for each customer. Ex. We have two different customers type (Pizzarias and Restaurants), the scenario should recommend top-sellers products from pizzarias for customer type pizzaria and recommed top-sellers products from restaurants for customer type restaurants. The campaign target group will have customers from both types and during the e-mail personalization the recommendation scenrio should send the correct types for each customer.

The x-sell scenario should recommend products that other customers are buying and i'm not. Based on my behavior and based on behavior from other customers from the same customer type, for instance, pizzarias for pizzaria customer or restaurants for restaurant cutomers the scenario should recommend products that is often bought together with products that customer is buying and he not bought yet.

The up-sell scenario should recommend products the a customer already bought but based only on his purchase history.

The recommendation is basic divided in three steps, recommend, filter and re-rank. The three scenarios should be part of recommend step.

I also need to implement some filtes, like product in stock. The stock information will be uploaded to hybris marketing. Is it possible to create a filter algorithm that remove products from the recommended list?

At the end, the final product recommendation must be re-ranked by a specific formula. Is it possible to create algorithms to re-rank recommended list?

Once the recommendation scenario is working we are going to use on e-mail templates, but, inside the template we must send price information. Is it possible to customize the e-mail personalization?

Hi,

The problem with the Recommendation module, is that it works great in API with a webshop, but is rather limited when used in an e-mail.

You can vote for the Customer Influence idea to extend the use of recommendations in email on this page:

On the SAP Hybris Marketing Roadmap I see that on version 1808 the following item is planned; so it is possible that the Customer Influence Idea has already made it to the planning: "Dynamic recommendations within e-mails"

Currently in an e-mail you can only use very general recommendation models that do not use any info of the contact person that you are sending to... such as "top selling products"...
