Partial Reversal

Hi experts,

Is there any option to reverse the partial stock in wm.

i know by cancelling material document we can reverse the full stock as that of PO.

We receive 10 cases from vendor after grn, TO is confirmed as stock is in bin location.

So can we return 5 cases to vendor using material cancellation method ?

A return is not a cancellation!

Cancelling a document is not the same as creating a new document with a reversal movement type.

Now it is up to you, whether you create a return if you return something or do a partial reversal by creating a new document.

thank you, i appreciate as you are one of the expert person in scn.

what is the standard way and right practice to return the partial goods to vendor other than return po.

i know we can return partial goods to vendor using return purchase order.

In sap do we have any other way to return the partial goods.

The is also a difference between using a return item in a PO (161) and doing a return movement with referencing a PO (122)
