Dear Sir,
I am working on SAP R/3 Enterprise v 4.7.
I need to configure Leaves in my company, the characteristics of which are as follows:
EARNED LEAVES
1. 20 Working Days=1 EL (Calendar Year)
2. A maximum of 30 ELs may be accumulated
3. Any quota balance over and above 30 ELs should be automatically be encahsed 1st Jan of the consecutive year.
4. Half Day EL is not allowed to any employee
Please help me with the configuration.
Regards,
Hi,
1. 20 Working Days=1 EL (Calendar Year)
To acheive this you can use the Set up Generation rules node.
Keep accrual period as Daily
Base entitlement as 1/20 i.e 1 EL for 20 days presence
Accrual entitlement
Prorata calculation & Day Balance
In day balance enter a time type that will be formed
with value 1 on every present day. (PCR should be
written for this).
Max Entitlement as 30 days.
Transfer time to Absence quota could be as desired - daily , monthly, annually, etc.
Total entitlement again 30 days.
3. Any quota balance over and above 30 ELs should be automatically be encahsed 1st Jan of the consecutive year.
For this you will have to write a PCR to push a wagetype into ZL after no. of EL = 30.
In Payroll it can then be multiplied by a suitable rate and given to the employee.
4. Half Day EL is not allowed to any employee
This can be done in the Absence type's counting rule where there is a setting for < 1 day and Full day.
Hope this is helpful.
Regards,
Shreyasi.

Hi,
For your requirements you will have to either write a PCR(if time evaluation present) or user exits.
In the PCR you will have to check the number of days worked by an employee and if it is 20 accrue 1 EL in a time type. Also you have to check if that time type value exceeds 30, if so make it 30. Other types of quota time types for encashment, you will have to send to payroll with the December data.
Half day EL not allowed you can configure with deduction rules.
Thanks,
Preetham
