Generic Interface

I'm attempting to develop a generic interface. Able to accept many message types and map them to the corresponding interface.

I've been reading this thread which has som egreat points...one-inbound-http-interface-to-accept-multiple-xml-

However, I'm a little confused. I've created my generic interface. I have all my other interfaces and mappings but when I create the interface determination the only mappings that are displayed are those of the generic interface. It's at this point I'm supposed to map from the correct data types and not the generic data type.

Thanks in advance.

If you first open the interface mapping in the repository, choose copy object, and then paste that result in the interface determination it works.

I reviewed the posting I mentioned and it works.
