company code and form 16

Hi all,

Once the employee is transferred from one company code to another company code intra company transfer , will i get 2 form 16 or only one form 16.

Please can anyone tell me how the amounts will display in form 16.

Hi,

If the employee changes from one company to another then both the companies have to give form 16 to the employee.

Lets say he worked for 6 months in company X, then for next 6 months in Company Y then he'll be getting tow form 16 - One from company X and another from company Y.

Its an intra company transfer from one company to another company code.Initially it was only one company now it split to 2.

How they will issue form 16??

HI,

Transfer from one company to another company is INTER COMPANY TRANSFER.

However if an employee worked in two different companies then 2 form 16 shud be issued.

(In your case Company code might hv changed - hence tow different companies).

If any employee transfers within the company code if it is in country.

It will be one form 16 only....
