XL reporter Error

Hi all

XL reporter giving error"Required COM Add in program for XL reporter has not been loaded and prohibit microsoft excel from running."

How to solve this problem

Please check the following to get the cause of the error message :

1. The report writer COM Add-in has not been loaded, which prohibits

Microsoft Excel from running.

2. The user should be an administrator on the local machine to add COM

add-ins.

Please follow the steps as the the attached note : 853343

to resolve the issue.

hi,

uninstall the XL reporter and install using the following steps

installation steps of XL-reporter add-on,

1. goto add-on administration => Register Add-on(click).

give the XL reporter address. select default group as Manual.

update.

2. goto addon manager => pending Add-on tab => select the addon row and install.

in installation give the user id and pwd of SQL server.

3.goto addon manager =>installed addons tab, start the XL reporter, once it get connected as status.

4. go to tools menu in SAP B1, in that you will find XL reporter, click that XL reporter will open.(to view XL reporter)

follow the above steps you will get the XL repoter add-on running in SAP B1.

Dear,

About the issue you reported,please kindly refer to

Note 893307 and 853343 for solution.

In case the procedure mentioned in the Notes does not

help,please try to re-install the XLR on the machine.

To perform a clean re-install of XLR, the following steps are necessary in addition to the normal uninstalling process of Business One add-ons:

1) Delete the database IXMetaSBOOEM on the server;

2) Delete all tables begin with 'ixt' in the customer DB;

3) Open windows registry editor, click on the root node of the registry

(My Computer), search for the term 'SAP XL Reporter', and delete all

keys and their sub keys found by the search.

4)Delete or rename the SM_OBS_DLL folder under %temp%

Hope that could solve your issue.

Please check SAP notes 843566. Simply by running a ComaAddIn regstration file under administrator right. Problem will be solved
