R/3 4.7 upgrade and convert to S/4HANA

Hi,

We're evaluating the possibility to upgrade very old system (R/3 4.7) and convert it to S/4HANA (most updated, like 1709 release).

We want to do it at once, with only one downtime time period. Is it possible ?

We know it is required to upgrade 4.7 to ECC6.0 (maybe EHP8) and unicode converted before conversion to S/4. And conversion requires some pre-check activity which take considerable time. I'm afraid that it is not feasible to do it together with reasonable downtime.

Anyone have done 4.7 --> S/4 project ? any suggestion ?

By the way, is there any official support service or customer care for S/4HANA conversion project ?

Yes there are. As a first step If the Customer is an "Enterprise Support" Customer (most SAP customers are Enterprise Support Customers but not all), they can subscribe to the SAP Enterprise Support Value Maps, which are available within their contract (no additional fees).There is one Value Map for SAP S/4HANA and one for SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Then there are additional offerings which can be found there , but the Customer should then reachout to his SAP contacts
