Hi All

I want to make Sales district field mandatory in sales order

How to go about this?

Dear Mandar

Go to OVA2, block "Sales - Header", double click on "Procedures". Again block "Standard Order" and click on "Fields". There maintain the following:-

Table::::::Fld name:::::Description:::::Scrn::::::::Status

VBKD::::::BZIRK::::::::Sales Dist::::::KKAU::::01 or 02 or 03

But what I felt is that instead of making the sales district as mandatory in sale order, why dont you make it in customer master itself so that it will flow in sale order. To make this field as mandatory for customer master, go to OBD2, select your account group, double click on "General Data" and again double click on "Address". There make the field as "Req.entry".

Sales District should be made mandatory in the customer master not on the sales order, if this information is relevant.

Please explain why only at sales order.
