TDMS Doubt - dependency on Crossclient objects

Hello,

Is it required for sender and receiver system to have same data dictionary(DDIC) and Cross-client customizing levels for using TDMS?

    Hi Nirav..

I dont know how you implement TDMS..

    Our practices was..

    system Copy PRD to QAS.

Delete clients in QAS (this leave all the cross-client objects)

Create the client (client copy only cust object)

and start to pump the data.. 😉)

    See you

      Hi Wence ,

How about the downtime of the QAS system?

Since you have system copy, then deletion of client & later pumping of data using TDMS. Am I correct?

      Santosh

      Hi Nirav,

I'm sure about the data dictionary.

Your source system and target system should be equal.

I'm not sure about the cross-client customizing.

I don't think it has to be same since cross-client customizing is not part of TDMS.

      Kind regards,

    Hi,

If your target system does not have a DDIC or cross client information, you can use Shell creation of DMIS to set up such information in the target system.

    Srila.
