Routing problem in costing variant

Hello All,

When I do cost estimate I am getting the error message as " no routing could be found with the selection criteria". Can any one please guide me where the problem is.

Combination of costing version,costing type, and valuation variant with Quntity structure type is missing in OKYD transaction, which is used to pick up the correct routing.

Hi,

selection depends on plant parameter tcode OPPQ

Routing selection depends on

1. Tasklist type

2. Usage

3. Status

Please check in T code OPEB - regarding routing selection

And also assign to order type in OPL8 Please check and come back?

1. When you enter into the routing you give the Material plant group counter and date ..

2.Check all the above inputs and correct them accordingly - since if you try to display a routing before the date it was created then it will give the above error

So to retrive the erro

1. Put the f4 in the groupnumber tab in ca03 - and search by material

2. if the routing exitst then you can see them with a group number

3. if the routing exitst then select them and clear the material plant etc and display the routing and check the validity date in the header screen

4. from then when you want to access the routing give this date or clear the date in the selection screen and enter.

Thanks for detail explanation.

Can you please let me know is there any link between routing and costing variant, if so where, otherwise how the routing will be get selected by the costing variant. Because the problem is the same Routing selection 'Y1' is given in two costing variants. One costing variant is working and another one is giving the before said message.

Hi Nivas,

In the config of Costing variant ( OKKN), under quanity structure control routing is attached with costing variant.

The routing selection shows, what routing is related with cost variant.

The routing in costing variant is being selected on automatically on combination basis.

Dear Nivas,

Apart from the Costing variant that's configured ,Costing variant PPC1 will be selected normally for product

costing in CK11N.This includes a BOM & routing combination.

Further in the Routing we assign the Work center in which an operation is to be performed---> inturn in the

work center we assign the cost center & an activity type for which the rates has been maintained in T code

KP26.

so after creating a routing with usage Production 1 - & status 4,once again calculate the costs in CK11N

and then confirm.

Routing selection and costing variant both they are assign to order type dependent parameter in OPL8? which is use in production order.

Please check and come back for your order type and plant.

Dear Nivas,

It seems no routing/Rate routing/recipe exists for the particular product for which you are trying to create a

Cost Estimate.

If you are into Discrete scenario then routing has to be created using T code CA01.

If you are into REM scenario means then either routing /rate routing has to be created using T codes

CA01/CA21.

If you are into PP-PI Production Planning for Process Industries then you have to create the related one's.

So kindly ask your PP person to create any one of the above and then do the cost calculation.

Check & revert back.

Please go to CA01 transaction code and create the Routing for that material with plant combination.

Hi!

There might be some missing areas in the master reciepe defined for the same. So, pls check the master recipe for the Material and resource combination.
