WBS element does not belong to business area(Message No: CJ067)

Hi All,

While doing Billing through DP91 by giving the Sales Order No.,

it is giving the error "WBS element *****does not belong to business area** ".

The configuration between Business Area and Plant in Enterprise Structure level is fine.

Do let us know anything else need to be done to resolve the same.

Needless to say that helpful replies will be awarded points.

Hi,

Have you maintained business area in WBS element?

Goto CJ20N, click on open, enter your WBS element press enter.

Goto Assignment tab check business area.

and check business area in sales order account assignment tab.

Hi Chandra,

Business Area was given both in CJ20N and Sales Order level.

Also both these business areas are same.

To be more clear:

Say in the error it has mentioned the business area as 'X'.

But in Sales Order and Project level, 'Y' has been maintained.

System is throwing 'X' error, because the same is maintained under Cost Center level.

I cannot change the business area in Cost Center to 'Y' because of my business restrictions.
