Random Dashboard Error: com.businessobjects.sdk.core.server.IServer.process of a null object

• SAP BO 4.2 SP03 Patch 11
• SQL Server 2014
• UNX connection via Query as a Web Service.

We have SAP Business Objects Dashboards built with BI web services (A webi report is built and published as QAAWS). Occasionally, we are getting the below error on the dashboards when loading them.

We are going to submit a support ticket but was wondering if anyone had any insight into this error or experience of resolving it.

"while trying to invoke the method com.businessobjects.sdk.core.server.IServer.process(com.businessobjects.sdk.core.server.IServerRequest) of a null object returned from com.businessobjects.rebean.wi.impl.services.ReportEngineOutputServiceImpl.getServer(com.businessobjects.sdk.core.context.IContext,com.businessobjects.rebean.wi.model.engine.IDocumentInstance)"

It is SAP BO Dashboards connected to a Query as a Web Service built in Webi. (Note: Dashboards used to be called Xcelsius). Does that help?

check SAP Note 2114577 - Dashboard is randomly not complete when consuming multiple different "Document As A Web Service" web services.
