Hi,
We have so many entries in table SOFFPHF with field FILE_NAME = FILE0001. How do such GOS attachments get created in SAP? What does they imply?
Thanks and Regards,
Anuj
basis of the document selection is table SRGBTBREL. Via SO_OBJECT_READ you will get LOIO_ID for the selection in SOFFPHIO (with loio_id) and SOFFPHF (with phio_id). With the key of SRGBTBREL you can select in SOOD

when a document is uploaded in SAPGUI as an attachment, you will find the original filename in table SOFFPHF. When you do the same in FIORI, you have 'FILE0001' in table SOFFPHF. in that case, the original filename is stored in table SOOD.

FILE_NAME is not really the file name, it is the relative storage location of the physical document
GOS documents get usually created by user action, adding pictures to a material master or an equipment, adding word documents to purchase orders and so forth
The storage path is defined in OAC0 for the repository SOFFDB

Thank you. But when I pick up a GOS attachment name and search it in table SOFFPHF (with field FILE_NAME), I do get entry in the table. There are many entries in the table with GOS attachment names in the field FILE_NAME. But then there are also so many entries with FILE0001 in the field FILE_NAME. I want to understand the significance of FILE0001 in all these entries.
