To change the selection mode of the date input field


I have an inputfield to which i mapped a context element of type date.

But to select the date from that pop up window i svery difficult.

so i want to change that selection mode of that calender.

can we change the type of the calender?

ie if i want to see the 1983 year's calender by a single entry or single click is ther ny way to do that....

pls hel pme it is urgently needed

    You can enter the date with the specific year in the text box (12/31/2006)and hit the calender.This should show you that year's calender(2006).You will have to give the date in the format MM/DD/YYYY i guess.

      There is no way to change the 'DateaNavigator' assigned to Date Picker inputfield. See [this thread|Use your own DateNavigator in an inputField;.

      However, you can easily open the DateaNavigator to a specified date. If you want to open the calender for 1983, assign 01/01/1983 or any other suitable date to your context attribute bound to date picker inputfield. DateaNavigator will open to this date. You can also instruct your users to input the desired date directly in inputfield in format MM/DD/YYYY.
