Hi,

I am doing Masterdata Integration with Ariba Sourcing, I am following the direct connectivity method by using Web Services, Without any PI as Middleware.

But when I configure the web Service and trying to ping that service it showing error.

"Error accessing service; Service Ping ERROR: Error when calling SOAP Runtime functions: SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("Connect to s1.ariba.com:443 failed : NIEHOST_UNKOWN (-2)")"

When I am trying to use T-Code '/ARBA/MASTER_DATA', Same error is reflecting their also.

Is there missing steps or something needs to be done, Kindly Advice.

Please advice.

Best Regards,

Hello Nishant,

Please ask your basis team to add host entry then this error should be resolved.

Hi Manoj,

Thanks for your Reply.

I changed the URL to new one.

I also changed the browser settings System support TLS 1.1/1.2 calls.

Still getting the same error.

Regards

Nishant

Its not about the browser , the TLS is about the system from which you are connecting .

Ask your basis team to check this . and also ask to do telnet for that host and see if the firewall is open.

Nishant,

s1.ariba.com is old URL which Ariba stopped supporting from April 5th due to TLS security issue, you need to use new URL s1-integration.ariba.com and also you need to check the system which you are using to connect to Ariba supports TLS 1.1/1.2 calls.

And also make sure the firewall rule between the backend ECC/S4 and Ariba system.

Thanks,

Manoj
