WIJ 20002 error

Former Member

We get WIJ 20002 error which is related with "_unable to connect to WEBI Report server_". As far as I noticed(not sure 100%) that the problem appears because of a particular WEBI report within the repository. As as solution what we are doing is just to stop and start WEBI Report Server. But we cannot use that particular WEBI report for the time being. Any comment appreciated...

Hi,

If you are on .net infoview please try following.

Cause:

The server may be down or your user session may be closed, the extensions need to be mapped properly.

Resolution

1.Goto start run : type u201Cinetmgru201D

2. And then right click in the Default Web Site->Home Directory->Execute Permissions.

3.Click on Configuration, and if the App Mappings tab click on Add.

4.Click browse->goto Win32_86,

5.search for cdzISAPI.dll, and in the extension filed type =.wis and select u201CAll verbsu201D and click OK.

6.And then in the next click and then click u201Cselect allu201D

7. Then click ok. And then restart the IIS.

OR

If the Application Protection setting is too high then Change the Application Protection for the "Enterprise11" virtual directory to "low." Restart IIS for the change to take effect.

OR

If Cause

In IIS 6.0, on the BusinessObjects virtual directory, there is no extension mapping for .wis or it is not configured correctly.

Resolution

To resolve this error message:

In IIS 6.0, open the Properties windows for the BusinessObjects virtual directory.

On the Virtual Directory tab, Application Settings section, click on the Configuration button.

In the Application Configuration window, Mappings tab ensure that the .wis extension is listed.

If the extension is not listed, click the Add button.

In the Executable field, browse to the location of the cdzISAPI.dll file found in <install dir>:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\win32_x86\cdzISAPI.dll

Make sure that the option u201CVerify that file existsu201D is cleared.

I hope this information would help you, if not please let me know with same.

Could you please provide me environment details at your end.

Best Regards,

Pradnya Kokil.
