Problem with old reporting structure which uses 0CS_HDATFR...

Dear BCS experts,

my client (BW 3.5, SEM_BCS 4.0 and ECCS) wants to keep up his old reporting environment after Migration from EC-CS to BCS. The "old" reporting is in BW using the extracted data from EC-CS (with Hierarchy date). In BCS we have a different data model (for example functional area is no longer a subitem - it is an own infoobject).

We write the consolidated data from the new consolidation system BCS from the virtual provider to the "old" data model for reporting purposes. The routines work fine. Only problem is the logic with validity of the data (logic hierarchy from).

My question is to keep up the selection possibility for 0CS_HDATFR, in the queries, for the hierarchy structure. Because this information is getting lost by extracting the data from 3EC_CS_1A.

Has anybody experience with this problem?

Hi ,

I do not know the answer to your question. The thing is i am currently working on EC-CS module to extract the data in BI.

I have never worked on this extractior- 3EC-CS_1A.

I saw your post and thought you are an expert in this area.

Can you please tell me the extraction steps for this extracto into 0ECCS_C01 cube. i think it is a full load.
