Hi sathish

First ensure the Merchandise hierachy tree has been created for ur requirement with the lower level as MC. Create Merchandise category First. Create a Characteristic profile with characteristics example : SIZE & COLOR , and maintain Values example : 42,40 for Size & red , blue for COLOR Assign this profile to Merchandise catergory

1.Create Merchandise Category - Exp. APPAREL in WG21

2. Create Characteristic Profile - CLWF- Assign Charactreistic & values

3. Assign Profile to MC - WG26

4. Create Artcile . MM41 with the Created Merchaside category , Article category as Generic

Hi

1) Refer the SAP Help link for Steps to create Article Master

2) Go to MM60 enter the Generic Article code and enter u can find the Variant Articles list Under each Generic Article

3)The no of Generic articles depends on your requirement e.g. We used A generic Article for all Towels ( e.g Bath Towel , Hand Towel, Wash Towel and Tub mat) and one for All Bed Products (Bed Sheet-King, Queen , Pillow , Set etc)
