HI

if you had change number then yuocould see based on valid date,

if not see from CS20, here you can see the bom from to date wise,

see teh CK13n when it was run, goto history, there you can se the date,

put this date in CS20 and you can get the old bom data.

Dear Natarajan,

Check using T code CS80.

CS20 is for making Mass Changes in BOM.

You can trace the changes in table leavel only if you are using ECM - Engineering Change numbers for

BOM creation and BOM Change.

Please check and revert back.

Dear Natarajan,

what's the reason for calculating the cost for an old BOM?It requires lot of work to do.

As said in my previous reply if you are using ECM means ,traking the BOM history is easy and you can

get all the details using tables MAST,STAS,STKO,STPO.

MAST is for taking the materials BOM no and in STAS you can use the Change number & BOM no to find

out the changes that has happened.

A change might be deleting a BOM component or adding a new BOM component or a change in any

one of the field of the existing component itself say for Eg change in the BOM component quantity.

If not means you can get the change documents in CS80.

check with this information and revert back if you need any further assistance.

Hi

ima sorry , i gave wrong t-code CS20, correct it cs80.

and you getthe data in table CDHDR,

Change doc. object -STUE

get the BOM numbe from CS03 header

and pass this (if your bom nymber is 00000033 , and add fisrt your client number(ex 007) and M front of bom number )into CDPOS and CDHDR asObject value.

so you object value is 500M00000033.

pl try

goto MAST , find teh bom number against the header material,

then pass this BOM Number , and pass it into the CDPOS table as a object value putting * before and after for the BOM number.and Change doc. object as STUE.

Dear Natarajan,

If you are using ECM - Engineering change Management for BOM Creation/Change then you get the list of

BOM changes.Say in T code CS03, remove the valid from & to date and press enter, you can see the list of

changes happened along with the respective Change numbers that are used.

Use T code CS80 to view the list of change Documents related to Material BOM.

If you are using Change number with release key ,then check whether the release key is set or else the

changes that were made using that Change number will not become effective.

If you are using a Change number with/without releasekey its valid from date plays a major role.

Please check & revert back.
