Hello,

I need the solution for my business process. CIC gurus, help me out. The situation is as follows.

Customer wants to change his name.

He calls the utility company and request for name change.

Customer contact will be created by the agent in the utility company for u201CName changeu201D.

The name will be changed after following several procedures.

Then the agent should update the customer contact as the name has been changed and should close this case.

1. My question here is, is there any way to update the customer contact and mark it as the case closed?

2. Also, when I search for the open customer contact, it should not display the closed customer contact (or) customer contact updated as work done.
