Is it possible to restrict an incoming lot in QA32 screen of the person who created Purchase Request for that particular user alone.
Right now I am restricting lot thru inspection type object. Above requirement is required when different department can procure same material. In this case only intended or Purchase Request created person only should see that lot in QA32 screen. Please let me know if there is any possiblity.
Prerquisites, client will always create PR manually (no MRP).
I found a way out thru enhancement

Hi Jaison,
let me know whether the PO for material X will be created by user "PUR1" only. I mean
One material will be created by some one or two users group. then you can utilize the functionality of QM material authorization.
Define a material authorization in QM view. And assign it's authorization to certain users only.
Define another material authorization group and assign it other user's group or a user.

Dear Jaison,
NOT AT ALL , it is not possible in standard SAP. But there are some tricks to identify the inspection lot that who is the indenter of the material & to whom this inspection lot is associated.
As you said that there are many departments generating PR for the same material then at the time of MIGO you can maintained the Storage location deparment viz (i.e. Department code can be the storage location). Then in QA32 user will have the inspection lot with department location viz and then concerned person to the deptt will approve them.
Give me the feedback please.
Thanks.

Dear Jaison,
As such there is no direct restriction we can fabricate in QA32. Only two options are there :-
1. As i explain you earlier and maintain a process disciplin to follow the approval system strictly as per Department viz.
OR
2. As Mr. Shyamal has suggested , You can create Quality Groups.
You choose as per your client requirements.
Regards.
