Using Scrollbar or Play Selector Component

Hello,

i have a Xcelsius Chart in wich i want to display data over a long period of time. Is it possible to integrate a scroll bar into the chart wich allows the user to scroll to certain dates?

I found something similar in the Xcelsius Sample files. They integrated the Play Selector Component.

I tried this method too, but was not able to implement the data an the dates in the Excel Sheet.

Does anyone know how it works?

Have you checked out the Sample for the Play Selector that is included with Xcelsius 2008?

File > Samples > User Guide Samples > Play Selector

It uses a long data list that is displayed in a simple chart with a Play Selector. It is simple enough you should be able to translate the functionality into your use case.

I already used this Sample. But I still have two more questions:

- Is there a way to use a Scrollbar instead oft the Play Selector?

- If I want to rewind, the last value is added. How can I "really" rewind the sheet like it is in the Sample I posted before?
