Add field in RFQ

Hi all,

I need to add a new numeric field in ME41 Request for Quotation, but i would need that later these field appears in these table because we need this field to be added to the initial screen:

Someone knows if it is possible?

I doubt that you can make this wish possible.

At least it is not possible from IMG in purchasing.

If you look into table T162 using SE16N then you can actually see that a field has just dots or dashes and stars etc.

Each position of such a character represents a field and defines whether it is displayed or hidden or mandatory or optional.

And just doing a change it for the ME41 record is definitely to short as several records interact to finally decide how the field appears in the purchasing document.

with my limited knowledge you would not even be able to add a new custom field to T162 (T162 is defined as a pooled table and an enhancement is not possible according to OSS note 1684860) and you also must not forget the other tables which start with T162*

You cannot even set another character at the end of the content in an existing field as SAP might overwrite it with a future upgrade for new SAP fields in those documents.
