device category

Hi experts,

I m makin device category ,prior to which i hv made a material master n in img setting i hv maintained the material in help search table also.

but while creating dc, i m getting the error

Material not maintained in the plant **

No material data exist for the plant.

You have not yet created any data for the material at this plant level.

In this case, create the plant data by maintaining material master record 19 from the Purchasing, MRP, or Storage view.

The material is a planned material, that is, the data has been scheduled for this plant level for a future point in time.

In this case, you can display the planned changes for the material

This already i hv done. Pls help.

hi there

i dnt know vat is ur error but i would suggest u to follow this procedure i guess plant allocation is the problem in ur case

check wther u r correct with ur plants for ur company code

any way follow this steps

mm01 for materil creation( industry sector ===utilities)(give ur sales org data correctly here)

eg01 for device category in this case click meter push button if u wish that material must become a meter(gve material number itself in the device category colum)

iq01 serial number creation of device here importantly gve category as energy meter..defaulty it may be machines change it

hope it will work to solve ut error

Hi

When u create a Material In MM01, Maintain the Plant You have defined.

Customize the enterprize structure for your module.

This is sufficient.
