Class 015 characteristic Object dependencies-

How can I create an object dependency to do below:

Force CHAR2 to Display or Make it Mandatory only when CHAR1 value is A.

Hi Aqva,

You can use a Selection Condition, like the following, allocated to the characteristic CHAR2:

CHAR1 SPECIFIED AND CHAR1 = 'A'.

Hi Flavio

Thanks for your reply. I tried the instructions.

It works when controlling the values of Char_2 (making some values visible or hide based on char_1 value entry).

But it doesn't make Char_2 hide/visible (or mandatory) based on Char-1 value entry.

This is What I Did.

For both values of Char_1 (e.g. Y, N) I can still see the Char_2 in the notification>item>class.

Hi Aqva,

Thank you for your answer.

To make a characteristic hidden / visible based on another characteristic value, use a Precondition.

Basically, the same code as for the Selection Condition. And again, allocate it to the involved characteristic.

It should work.
