RSQIWKEX, RSQOWKEX, RSMB_START_MESSAGES jobs.

Hi All,

Please let me know if I am corrcet:

RSQIWKEX job -- automatically resets the inbound queues.

RSQOWKEX job -- automatically resets the outbound queues.

RSMB_START_MESSAGES job -- for sxmb_moni restart

Question:

1. When data is coming in XI is it Inbound queue?

Is smq2 is Inbound queue transaction?

2. When data is going from XI is it Outbound queue?

Is smq1 is Outbound queue transaction?

3. What SAP recommends to schedule the above jobs for how many minutes.

Regards

XI messages for inbound processing are placed in inbound queues of Integration Engine and placing them in outbound queues carries out outbound processing.

During inbound processing, the receiver for the particular message is determined during receiver determination step. Now Integration Server bundles these messages according to their receivers and places it in outbound queues. The important point here is these outbound queues are receiver-specific

SMQ1 - qRFC Monitor for the outbound queue. You use this transaction to monitor the status of the LUWs in the outbound queue and restart any hanging queues manually

SMQ2 - qRFC Monitor for the inbound queue. You use this transaction to monitor the status of the LUWs in the outbound queue.

1 yes,Data coming in XI is Inbound queue

2 yes,Data going from XI is outbound queue

3 There is no such recomendation,it depends on your message size.

Inbound Queue RUNNING:recommend a waiting time of at least 30 minutes before you reactivate the queue
