accounting data

a material in the P.O asks for mandatory acc asn, G/L account and cost center

knowing the material, where can i look up for these 3 data

Dear,

Enter ME23N or at the time of purchase order creation ME21N.

You purchase order number.

Go at item detail level, Click on Account Assignment tab.

Here you can see all three data.

Hi

pl.check for the material

u have maintained Accounting 1 view with correction valuation

class.

if not maintained create accounting view and then link Valuation class

Hi,

If the material is without accounting view ie not having a valuation class it will ask to mantain G.L Acc & Cost centre.These data you need to mantain depending upon in which account the budget is and where you need to book the cost .Accordingly you have to look out the G/L & Cost centre.
