Number of enrties in an Internal Table

Hi All,

We use describe table ITAB to find the number of lines in the internal table. Is there any other alternative?

Thanks,

    Hi,

    loop at itab.

    count = count + 1.

    endloop.

    write:/ count.

    I think sy-tabix will also give you the value...

    Regards,

    Hi,

    After the statements DESCRIBE TABLE itab, LOOP AT itab, and READ TABLE itab,

    SY-TFILL : contains the number of lines in the relevant internal table.

    DATA : N type I.

    DESCRIBE TABLE ITAB LINES N.

    Now N has the no of entries in internal table.

    write n.
