Hello:

I speak only a bit english so i hope that you can understand me.

I'm seeing the CK13N to look for a material cost. In this screen we have two tables. In the table of the down I see the cost element and its cost. But, this cost seem extranges and we need to investigate it.

¿How can we see the functions or process that SAP use to calculate this cost?

Thank you very much.

Hi Jose,

The items in the down table are valuated from a strategy called valuation variant, which is in the costing variant you use for cost estimation. You can also branch from CK13N to view the costing variant then the valuation variant (or Tcode OKKN). The valuation variant defines the valuation strategy for material, activity type, and overhead, etc.

Items with M are material/semi-product consumption cost valuated from the material pricing strategy in the valuation variant and the material quantity in the product BOM.

Items with E are production cost valuated from activity type rate (Tcode KP26) and activity type quantity in the product Routing.

Items with G are overhead cost valuated by costing sheet. Usually it is calculated by a surcharge rate multiply the material consumption cost or production cost.

Wish this could help you
