Hi,
I have created a custom field in S/4HANA using the Custom Fields & Logic app (in-app extensibility) in the "WBS Element Details" business context. I am trying to achieve the same functionality as using the traditional CI_PRPS / XCN1 / SMOD extension method, but in a Cloud-ready fashion.
I'm using an on-premise system so I can see an Append structure with my field has been appended to standard structure INCL_EEW_PRPS_PS. How do I now put values in that field through a user interface? The apps for maintaining WBS elements in S/4HANA (1610 FPS02) are all just WebGUI transactions. The new field is not in the CI_PRPS include, so although I can add it to the customer screen in the Dynpro (XCN1 - 0700), the value does not get saved. Have I got to wait until SAP write a proper UI5 app before this field can be maintained?
Thanks,
Andrew
Hi, I have the same problem... WBS masterdata maintenance is a web gui app... I'm not able to see my custom field.
Do someone solved the problem?

Hi Sunil,
I'm familiar with the different ways of extending S/4HANA.
My problem is that there doesn't appear to be a Fiori UI for maintaining WBS elements, only a WebGUI one that points at transaction CJ20N. It doesn't seem possible to add Custom fields created through the app to the CJ20N transaction (using SMOD) because any value that gets entered will be lost.
Thanks,
Andrew
