PI7.1 Configuration Wizard NetWeaver Initial Setup

Hi,

I have installed PI7.1(XI0) and config the SLD via Configuration Wizard. I want to register to existing remote SLD(DEV) and need to input SLD client user, pls. tell me which system I need to create this client user?

The user is the user in the settings of CIM client.

Hi Jie,

I have not carried oyt any PI 7.1 installation, but yes PI 7.0.

In one of the steps of sapinst you are asked for SLD type (local or centralized). And every users needed to connect to SLD are created automatically and with the master password. Is it different in PI 7.1?

When you say vía Configuration Wizard, do you mean sapinst? or postinstallation steps?

But I don't know which SLD client user.

Hi Jie,

When you installed Pi, did you installed the SLD too?

In one of the installation steps, you can Configure your PI in a local SLD or register your PI in an existing SLD.

So, in the first case the SLD will be created in the same node than PI.

In the second case the SLD already exists.

What did you do in this step of your installation?
