Cannot change row header to any value

I am using the C# SDK in my addon to customize a UDO Document's form. The document also got rows (UDT Document Rows) and the default generated UDO form displays the rows in a Matrix.

I would like to change the row numbering (first, fixed column) to display the rows number, because right now, even if rows are added, it will be empty:

I tried to change it like any other column, but it just won't display the row index!

EditText oEdit = (EditText)oMatrix.Columns.Item(0).Cells.Item(rowIndex).Specific;  oEdit.Value = rowIndex.ToString();

I also tried using the ColUID, which is a string '#', same result, it will not display the value (note that the rowIndex is correct for every row).

It is easier if you bind your column to the field, LineNum of the database.

mt.Columns.Item(0).DataBind.SetBound(true, "YOURTABLE", "LineNum");

You can do this in B1Studio or ScreenPainter as well.

True, the same code I used worked after I binded the column to the UDO Doc. Row's LineNum. Thanks!
