Process order GRN- Inspection lot creation issue

Hi, we have 03, 04 inspections activated in material master. 03 inspection is done, gi, confirmation also done. while doing the grn using migo getting the error- no inspection lot could be created for item 0001. i am expecting i04 nspection lot created by system as 04 inspection lot is activated after grn. i have tried to create manually 04 inspection lot, there is no issue except system asking to change storage location. could you please help what could be the reason for this issue.

unfortunately i could not get the screen shots. in material master 04 is activated without early inspection option. process order status is REL CNF GMPS (GI done). while doing the GR getting the issue, no inspection lot could be created. please advise.

Thanks for the quick feedback.

When you are posting the GR, what is the Stock Type it is posting ? & what is the Movement Type ?
Is it Unrestricted Stock (or) Quality Stock , by default.?( Ref. to the Screen shot attached)

Hi Raju,
Can you take a quick look of the below sequence of steps for the Inspection Type : 04

1. Create the FG Material with QM View Active with 04 Inspection( T Code : MM01)
2. Create the Inspection Plan with Correct Status: 4 Usage: 5 ( T code : QP01)
3. Create the Production Order & Release & Do the Goods Issue & Confirm & GR
4. Stock updated in Quality Stock & Inspection Lot is created automatically.
5. Make sure that Inspection Lot is there in REL Status
6. Do the Results Recording ( T code : QA32)
7. Perform UD & Stock posting & save ( T Code : QA32)
8. Check the Stock update (You can find in UR) ( T Code : MMBE)

Could you please share the screen shots of the Material Master >> Quality Management view & The Inspection Set Up Screen, of the Header Material, that you are trying to Create the GR. & also, the Process Order Header screen shot, to know the current status of this Process Order.This will helps to understand the mentioned issue more better
