Header counter in DSO

Hello,

I have a simple question: in a BW transformation based on SD sales orders items, I'm trying to count just the individual headers. I know it can be done in BEx, but I was thinking about doing it in the end routine. So basically I'm trying to achieve a result_package like:

Doc nr Doc item Counter

1 1 1

1 2 0

1 3 0

Any ideeas? I've tried with "at new" control block but it's not working...

Hi,

You can sort the result package with document number and update the counter with 1 for each unique document number. Be careful that it will cause inconsistency in case of some changed documents are original documents are in the same data package. I feel it will be a better idea to use a BEx formula formula variable counter.
