no data filled in infostructure using OLI7 / OLI9

Hello experts,

we have a infostructure S710 with sales and invoice data.

Because some data changed we deleted version 000 with tcode OLIX.

Before we deleted the version we copied the version to another version.

We now tried to fill the data again using Tcode oli7 and oli9.

But no data is filled. The job runs a very long time but there is no data in the table.

Strange thing is that new orders and invoices created now in the system are updated is S710.

But all old data we want to reload using tcode oli7 and oli9 is not.

Anyone any ideas?

Hi,

Do you have change the custo of stat group for item category, document type and although in master data (customer and material) between old and new sales order ?

In this case, this is normal that new sales order are updated our infostructure.

When you launch OLI7 or OLI9, select "Retermine update group". Read OSS note 19056 about this.

About the procedure to update infostructure , I suggest to read this other OSS note : 174134.

First, follow the proposition of Lloyd Bower :

Simulare with an old sales order with Tcode MCVR (order) and MCVV (invoice). If you don't find this sales order, this is a problem of stat group.

Regards,

Lionel

thanks for your replies,

with transaction MCVR and MCVV I found out that infostructure S710 was not updated. After reading note 174134 I found out what the problem was: we used a old field in the updating rules --> MCVBAP-VDATU. I changed it using tcode MC25 to MCVBAP-ERDAT.

The problem is now solved, thanks alot Martin and Lloyd.

Try running Simulate Document check for either Sales/Dlivery to check whether a document will update.

Likewise try processing an old individual document in OLI7/9 online to a background version, and if it does not update you should get some idea of why.

Thanks for your reply.

I don't understand what you mean by 'Try running Simulate Document check for either Sales/Dlivery to check whether a document will update'.

Do you mean just create a test order and look if table s710 will be updated? This is I did already.

All new orders created in the system are updated in s710.

I also tried to process an old individual document in OLI7/9. S710 was not updated.

Maybe the problem is the updating rule in tcode OMO1?

Hi,

I have not got access to SAP just now, but for each of the documents (sales, deliveries, billing) there is simulate update document check, tcode for one of them is MCVR.

You will it the Spro > logistic-general > LIS > logistic data warehouse > updating >updating path.

It is useful in that it will tell you what info structures a document updates, the update group, the characteristics and key figures updated.
