Fixed Date/Qty flag not holding the dates in Schedule lines if changed manually

Hi All,

I have a requirement while creating a Sales Order available check will be carried out and schedule line dates will be populated with the Delivery Date, PGI date, Loading Date, Material Availability Date and Transportation Date. After creating Sales Order, business users receives actual dates from external partners and they want to update manually in Schedule lines (Delivery Date, PGI date and Loading Date). We have an option to check the flag Fixed Date/Qty and can enter the dates which will hold and avoid system calculation. Below are the details which I found in my testing

1) Order type- ZXX, Shipping Condition- AB, Item Category- NXXX, Schedule line category- NU

2) Order type- ZXX, Shipping Condition- BC, Item Category- TAN, Schedule line category- CP

Sales Area, Partners and Material are all same for both of the above scenario.

For scenario 1, if I check the flag Fixed Date/Qty and change the dates, they are holding and getting save but for scenario 2, they getting calculated by system even I use Flag and update the dates manually.

I checked Item category and Schedule line category setting but no idea why the flag is behaving differently.

Please provide your thoughts that helps to resolve my issue.
