Q1.What is inheritance logic in COI 'Accountinng technique' definition in the master data. How does it work?
Q2.Is the indirect investment is a defined activity, or is it derived calculation in COI ? How does it work?
A1: Inheritance refers to the automatic assignment of accounting technique based on the method assigned to the cons group. This may be helpful, but in some cases the inherited method is not correct and must be changed.
There is also some logic I do not quite understand in the virtual BCS infocube functiona module that uses this.
A2: If I understnad the question correctly, the indirect investment is determined or derived automatically in COI. It works according to the cons units assigned to each cons group in the hierarchy and the parent cons units of higher cons groups indirectly have ownership in the cons units within the lower cons groups within these higher cons groups.
