Item selection for bill printout

Hi Experts,

With below configuration system pick any open item for invoicing.

But for some customers requirement is we should only pick items which are created 40 days back.

Meaning If today (6th April 2018) I create an Invoice so for open item selection we should pick items which were posted on or before 25th Feb 2018.

I was thinking if this can be achieved using configuration? please help.

the interval configuration is designed only to look in the future and use due date. Any other scenario would require enhancement.
