I would like to know whether is it possible in CRM 2007 to set the authorization for some specific Marketing attributes so that only authorized user can see those marketing attributes. Would appreciate if some hints are also provided.
Thank for your reply. I tried to search for the Object but i couldnt find the Business Object Id for Marketing Attributes. Will be appreciated if you find out which object can be used for the mentioned scenario.
Go to transaction pfcg & search for your standard marketing business role, then under authorization tab you can see all authorization objects maintained under "display authorization data". Edit the objects for your fields to suit your requirements...
The authorisation object for marketing attributes are c_klah_bkp and c_klah_bkl. c_klah_bkp is to give the authorisation to user to maintain the attributes and c_klah_bkl is to give the authorisation to user to assign the attributes to BP. I hope it helps.
